      Book Review: Chess by Dave Schloss Hello chess fans. I am here to discuss the text "Chess " by Dave Schloss which I have just read through the review copy I recently received from the author. Let me first break down the contents and structure of this book and then we can go in to each section deeper and have a general discussion of the book.   It’s the best investment for beginners. Chess by Dave Schloss. Are you in a hurry to learn the secret tips of succeeding in chess? If so, then the Chess will perfectly fulfill your purpose. With this in hand, you don’t have to go through the hassle of reading many pages, as in thick books, written on chess playing.

The problems are available to see in the browser as well as to be downloaded, printed out and shared with friends, colleagues, etc. If you just solve 12 tactics problems per day out of this list, in about a half a year you will.   J. This book does not seem/feel beginner friendly, as the rating cap seems to high. I believe you need a tactical range of to to complete this book (w/all correct answers). This book feels more like a teaching tool than a book for beginners.

I think a beginner books should only peak around /5(54). It's more for beginning tournament players rather than beginning chess players. The book, however, is easy compared with checkmates, and even harder than that book is sacrifices and combinations.
